EMGO in Concert
The Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, conductor Nigel Gatherer, is in its third year and comprises mandolins, guitars, mandolas and bass.
EMGO performed well at the 2010 Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Rally. It welcomes new players as it grows and develops.
Repertoire includes Scottish, Latin, popular and classical music.
Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, conductor Nigel Gatherer, will perform an exciting programme at the start of this year's Fringe. The first half will include Scottish, Pop and Classical pieces. The second half will have a Latin flavour and include works by the Greek composer, Manos Hadjidakis.
