Mask Workshops
Amanda Wilsher was Trestle's workshops leader for seven years and has written and directed countless mask-theatre shows. She formed The Village Idiots in 2005 and together they have created five hugely popular shows and run highly successful workshops ever since.
Using simple masks we explore the basic principles of mask theatre: stillness, focus, clarity, timing, decision-making, emotion and status. Participants will develop their own mask characters and create a short sketch with music, props and hats.

Please note that these workshops are aimed at the age group of the day and limited to 15 participants.
