The Wild Goose Chase
Formed in 1993, Ealing Shakespeare Players perform works by Shakespeare and his contemporaries at the Questors Theatre in Ealing. They are delighted to be back at the Quaker Meeting House following their productions of 'Two Gentlemen of Verona' in 2002 and 'Timon of Athens' in 2003 (**** Fest)
Collaborations with Shakespeare aside (Two Noble Kinsmen, Henry VIII) John Fletcher's work is unjustly neglected. Here's a rare chance to see his 1621 battle of the sexes comedy. Virtually unperformed for over 300 years, it shows that where men, women and commitment are concerned, little has changed over the centuries.

A "must see" for women and men of the present age. Written at a time long before Victorian prudery placed a damper on the joys of love, lust and the pursuit of happiness.

Simple set, discreet music; jolly juxtaposition of 21 Century costumes with 16th Century language beautifully illustrate this 5 star play.
