How important is a tenth birthday? For Archie Stringweed very - he is looking forward to the most exciting birthday of his life .... BUT everything is surrounded by mystery. Why has his mother always hidden all his presents from his Uncle Rufus for the past 5 years?

For the 13th consecutive year The Newbury Youth Theatre brings a story of surprise and ingenuity to Edinburgh with creative set designs and original music. The plot moves quickly, exploring the generation gap and human relations in a fantasy tale that will keep children riveted. Will Archie be brave enough to exterminate the curse of Huigor that has haunted all first born sons of his family?
